  • All athletes and coaches are required to wear face coverings while indoors.
  • Sports teams and coaches will follow all Delaware Division of Public Health (DPH) and Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidance in determining quarantine and isolation of student athletes and their return to athletic play.
  • BSD will continue with appropriate sports hygiene (e.g. not sharing water bottles, avoid spitting, frequent handwashing, availability of hand sanitizer, etc.).
  • Encourage social distancing of three (3) feet when possible at practice.
  • Maximize social distancing between student athletes on buses.
  • Follow State, DPH, and school guidelines for spectator limits, if needed (currently, no spectator limits are in play)
  • BSD Coaches will keep accurate records of those athletes and staff who attend each practice and competition in case contact tracing is needed.
